It seems that the PE version of Minecraft is finally getting an update, since Febuary 18th. It’s been a while, and so far, nothing is certain on what or how it will be updated. However, there are a few hints left by the developers. Recently, it was revealed that there will be the extra-special addition of Resource Packs, just like in the PC version. This is a promising possibility, as resource packs are an essential part of the Minecraft experience.
There should also be some new blocks and items added, such as pistons or mutton. Pistons have been a long time item in Minecraft, notably added in the 1.7 Beta update. Mutton, on the other hand, is a much more recent addition. Both are highly anticipated, and it is hoped that there will be more coming afterwards. Eventually, we’ll probably be seeing the full Minecraft game in mobile form, as new updates give more and more items, blocks, and mobs. Again, nothing is solidified, and the only thing to do is wait for more information to come out.
As we get more information, we will keep you updated!
